George IV is the current King of the United Kingdom. Prior to succeeding his father, George III, and ascending the British throne, he was his father's regent from 1811 to 1820.

Personality[]

Biography[]

History[]

In late 1810, his father, George III, fell very ill and was unable to reign on his own anymore. Thus, from 1811 onwards, George had to act as his father's regent.[1]

Regency[]

In October 1819, George scolds Kell Maresh for arriving late and tells him that he does not have to bother visiting his father, the king, first. Kell gives Prince George a letter from Red London, and George takes his time reading it and finishing his reply. When he is finally done, he does not immediately hand over the letter; instead, he asks Kell to take a short walk with him.

On their walk, the Prince Regent tries to convince Kell to join him and others for dinner, but Kell refuses and reminds him of what happened to Black London; his curiosity regarding magic might have drastic consequences. This makes George finally surrender the letter. He orders some guards to lead Kell to the gate before he leaves.[2]

King of England[]

In January 1820, George's father dies, and George ascends the throne. Three weeks later, Kell comes to Grey London for the monthly correspondence. After George brings Kell to St. George's Chapel so that he can pay his respects to the late king, they retreat to a room where George finishes his letter. He tells Kell that he wants to form a closer bond between their worlds and says he will give him a gift—if Kell brings him something from Red London the next time. Kell refuses and suggests to write and ask Maxim Maresh for gift before he leaves.[3]
