The Scorched Bone is White London's version of the fixed tavern.
Overview[]
Because the Scorched Bone is a fixed point, albeit not a source of magic,[1] Kell Maresh used to conduct his smuggling business there.[2] The Scorched Bone feels significantly different to the Five Points and the Setting Sun as it seems to drain people's warmth.[3]
History[]
Years ago, Kell paid a man at the Scorched Bone to tell him how Holland Vosijk became the servant of Astrid Dane and Athos Dane.[4]
In October 1819, Kell instinctively walks to the Scorched Bone while wandering the streets of White London. He does not go inside, but before he can return to Red London, a woman in a blue cloak approaches him. She asks him to deliver a letter to a distant relative in Red London, gives him the letter and a parcel with payment, and swiftly leaves.[3]
